  The meal we had was exceptional by any standards. I'm not all about local sourced or organic but I feel it was a nice perk and definitely didn't hinder a blissfully unique menu. Their beer list was the best I've seen on my whole trip for those who prefer craft beers vs commercial large batch companies. The salad they made was one of the best I've ever had and their chicken special was cooked perfectly. The fish tacos as a starter were huge and had a good balance of spice. The desert we had was a brownie I couldn't admit to my mom but destroyed my perception of a good homemade brownie. Sorry mom. It was the best meal experience we've had on our maritime trip. Make sure you book a table. Check out their b+b the tidal life guest house for another amazing experience!

  Amazing food! Amazing service! I will continue to come back for the next 100 years. I truly felt cozy & so very well looked after here. Highly recommended to all!!

• Review of "Maitland Family Campground" at Maitland

  This lovely campground is off the beaten path and found down a lovely country road in Nova Scotia. There is a pool, washrooms and a shower of sorts. The amenities are few. No laundry and no store onsite. Owner says that the tiny town just down the road needs to be supported ... there is a store and laundry there. People are friendly and it appears that many of the sites are full time residents. Price is a bit high for the lack of facilities.
